About river rafting
Rafting in the Himalayan rivers of Nepal provides an exciting adventure for those who like thrill, enjoy fun ride and dare to shoot rapids. It offer unique way to see interior of Nepal. There are many opportunities to meet village people and observe their simple life. On float section of the river it is pleasure to observe birds and wildlife in their natural habitat. There are plenty of places where you can enjoy thrilling ride on white water for any number of days you want. Best trips are in Trishuli, Kaligandaki, Bhote Koshi and Sun koshi river. Instead of drive all the way from Kathmandu to Chitwan, if you have it is best to raft. It is enjoyable way to go to Chitwan.

Rafting does not require experience or swimming proficiency, though swimming experience would be an added advantage. You can enjoy and have a lot of fun if you are enthusiastic, like outdoor life, and do not mind getting wet. There are river trips to suit everybody. We make special arrangement for family trip with children. Rafting is as safe as driving on the road.

A trip can be a day long to a maximum of 10 days depending upon the river and standard of the rapids you choose and logistics for arrangement involved. In terms of Colorado-river rating you can encounter anything from grade 1 to 3 (easy to difficult) in Trishuli-river. Rafting tour provides unique way to see interior of Nepal. It gives opportunity to meet villagers and plenty of quite time.

Approach: The starting point of Trishuli river are on the road from Kathmandu to Mugling that leads to Chitwan National Park. A day to 3 days trip can be started from any points above Mugling bazaar (town) from wgere the road to Pokhara branch out.Sun Koshi river rafting starts at Dolalghat on the way to Kodari border and Jiri and ends at Chatara, near Dharan, at Koshi Tappu National Park.

Best time: In autumn from October to November and in spring April to May are the best time when the water is not that cold and the water level is relatively low.
