Final destinations of these treks are very remote. You will have to cross several high passes to reach places few outsiders have only visited. The mountain and people in this area are raw and original. The natural beauty is undisturbed.At least 3 weeks is required to do this treks. Though the permit cost is not high you do need trek permit to visit this area.
Kanchanjunga (8598m), world's 3rd highest mountain is a speal tret. Starts at tropical lowlands, through thick forests and lovely villages upto the glaciers and magneficient view. This is the ultimate adventure which remain with you forever.
Makalu (8463m) is the fifth highest peak in the world. Trek starts with a flight to Tumlingtar and heads up the Aurn River valley to Sedua and Num, then crossing Shipton La Pass (4210 m) into the upper Barun river valley for a close look at Makalu and Chamlang Himal. This trek visits one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal. The Barun valley is a part of a huge international protected area under the agreement between the governments of Nepal and China, which comprises of 2330 sq. km of National Park and 830 sq. km of conservation area in Nepal alone.
Dhaulagiri (8167m) is Dhaulagiri is one of the most popular 8000m. peaks for climbing in Himalayas. The seventh highest mountain in the world, Dhaulagiri, lies on north–west of Pokhara culminating high point at its eastern end. Dhaulagiri is almost uninque in the world in terms of its rise above local terrain, it rises 7000m. over Kaligandaki gorge the south east in about 30 km of aerial distance. In fact, Kali Gandaki is dramatic as two eight thousenders, Annapurna I & Dhaulagiri both stand near the river facing each other over a deep valley.

Fly to Biratnagar and then drive to Basantapur (near Dhankutta). The trek starts at Basantapur. The trail gradually ascends up to a ridge and descends to Tamur khola (river). Follow the river towards northeast to Gunsa; travel further on the rugged trail to the glacier at Pangpema (5150m). Retrace the trail to Gunsa and traverse across the snow to cross 5183m Lapsang la (pass). You get to see magnificent view of gigantic Yalung kang glacier and Jannu -7710m peak. Visit Yalung glacier. This is an inner sanctuary of truly wild and raw mountain. Retrace the trail back to Ramge and travel south to Phidim. Drive from Phidim to Ilam. Stay overnight at Ilam. Next day, drive to Biratnagr to take flight to Kathmandu.

Trek starts at Tumlingtar. The trail follows Arun-river and leaves it near Sedua. After crossing the river you climb the hill to Tashigaon. Make further steep ascend to Shipton pass (4126m). Cross the pass and enter into the other world. The pass is usually covered by snow. On the other side you descend to Barun Khola (river) through rhododendron forest, streams and grassy fields and traverse to the base camp of Makalu. Retrace the trail back to Tumlingtar. Fly to Kathmandu.

Travel bu bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara and head west to Baglung. Follow part of the trail about 3 days towards Dhorpatan and turn north to the base camp of Dhaulagiri. Low hill with terraced rice field and villages gradually gives away to rugged mountain landscape. In about 7 days you reach base camp. The traverse from base camp to the ridge is steep and long. Cross the ridge at French pass and descend to Tikuche base camp. Continue to traverse in snow condition until you cross the pass. Because of the wind, altitude and snow the visibility is usually very low while crossing the main ridge to Tokuche. After crossing the pass you descend to a high pastureland for overnight camp. Next day make further steep descend to Tukuche. You are back to civilization as you follow the main trail to Jomsom. Fly out from Jomsom to Pokhara and travel to Kathmandu.
It is one of the best high adventure-trek in Nepal. This trek provides very close up view of the huge snow peak, a unique experience in the rugged terrain in the company of qualified staffs. You should be prepared to travel in snow condition for an extended period over a week and be prepared for rough weather. Previous trek experience in the mountain is necessary. You should be physically fit. Consider the trek a grade higher than trek to Makalu base camp.
