Government charges special permit fees to preserve fragile socio-economic, culture and ecology of the region. Only limited numbers of visitors are allowed in each year to the special permit trek areas.
The Hidden Kingdom of Mustang lies in the barren Tibetan plateu north of Annapurna. It is part of Nepal but always remained autonomous. Much has changed in neighbouring Tibet since its invasion by China in 1959 and the Cultural Revolution. Not so in Mustang!
Manaslu another destination high on the northern flanks of Gorkha district is equally popular with adventure lover. Tibetan boarder is just within a few miles. The Larkya La pass links the upper reaches of the Buri Gandaki Valley with the Marsghyangdi and is the key to completing the entire circuit of the Gorkha Himal. Becuase of its proximity to the boarder, this wild and beautiful region has remained off limits to trekking parties and it is also largly unexplored.
Limi valley is very beautiful, photogenic, wide and wonderful. Trek up to Gyuokharka (5150m)would be a life time experiences to see the spectacular views of Nepal’s Himalayas like Saipal (7031m), Byas Rishi, Api, Kanjiroba, Kanti, Gorakh Himalayas and Tibetan Himalayas like Mt. Kailash and Gorlamdanda and tranquil Mansarovar lake. This region is famous for rare flora and fauna. It can be seen the marmot, wolf, wild yak, blue sheep, wild horse (kyang), barking deer, musk deer, hare, Himalayan black bear and occasionally the snow leopard in this exotic region.

Remote and unspoiled western parts of Nepal still offers a real adventure for trekkers. Unlike other areas of Nepal, this part of the area where transport and luxury are beyond imagination but beauty is stunning and pure and guaranteed. The lake is situated in the Rara National Park and because of its remote location the lake has been visited only by few number of tourists. The route is well off the beaten track and affords glimpses of culture and fascinating scenery different from other parts of Nepal. The trek offers a dramatic display of clear high altitude lakes mingled with pine, spruce, rhododendron and juniper forests as well as breath taking views of the snow capped Himalayan peaks.
