Adventure Holiday planning for Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan for 2018 and beyond

Dear Friends,
Our love for adventure and Journey has taken us almost every areas and corners of the Himalayas of Nepal. We have been organizing treks, climb and adventure activities in the Himalayas of Nepal for over 36 years. We have created many fascinating and enjoyable holidays for individuals and groups the way they live it. Many prefer to go for standard program as published in our websites.
Some of the best and Popular programs are published as Fixed Departure in our website. The Fixed Departure trips are guaranteed departure with a minimum group size. These are small group departure. The land price is commissionable at 20% . Airfare, government and park permit fees are payable by members upon arrival in Kathmandu. Most participants in the fixed departure trips are English speaking. Prices are guaranteed.
We can also set up your own private departure with your own logo and trade mark. Just choose some of the best published trips and add upgrade service the way you like. you can add hotel, upgrade hotel or make the trip all inclusive. We will outfit your trip with utmost care and attention.
Nepal is rapidly changing by the network of roads in the middle hills from east to west and roads from south to north. In about 7 years most of the trek starting and ending places where there are STOL airstrips now will be accessible by road. At present most of the road to the various destinations are good for hair raising experience only. However, we use comfortable and private transport to reach start point of the treks to some of the traditional and popular long treks. We are using small private vehicle like Bolero( 6 seat -Indian version of land cruiser) for our “Overland Cultural Tours” from Kathmandu to Ilam in the eastern Nepal. This cultural tour is exciting soft adventure for people who do not prefer long walk yet want to see culture, people and beautiful places in the hinterland of Nepal and the Himalaya. If you want to add this new program please let us know.
The most significant trips that we have organized in the recent past are for Travelog, an Israel based travel company, that organizes trips to unique destinations with social objective. group consisted 28 members with various capabilities. Many of them are first timers, without previous mountain walking experience, and differently abled. It is indeed challenging to organize a himalayan adventure for this group. The challenge was empowering, great personal experience, adventurous and unforgetable journey for the participants. And for us and our partner it was a challenge to put accurate, responsible and well coordinated two week trip in the Himalaya, whitewater rafting and jungle safari. For recent feedback from other companies and individual please check our client reference site at testimonials .
The next trips was different. We organized a community program for a group of 19 students. They taught Nepali school children and painted their school primary section. The school faculty and the studets were happy to have the students from Wells, UK. After a week stint in the school they traveled to Annapurna for a short trek and visited Chitwan to see wild animals. It was a fascinating and new experience for the school children. We and our partner Rock & Rapid Adventure were happy that the students learned and experienced something different out of their comfort zone. The trip was full of activities. It was an adventure; they learned social skills and experienced different social environment than at home.
The most satisfying long trek that we had organized was for NKBV – Dutch Alpine Association, led by Aart Last. There were 13 participants in this 16 days trek. Together with Aart Last we have done many long treks in the Himalaya for NKBV. Out of all that, the trek to Humla, northern part of far western Nepal, was something pleasent to remember. Even though the destination was remote everything worked like a clock work. There was no flight delay and no hiccups. Though, because of early season, the high passess were full of snow; so instead of horses we took porters all the way. The view, landscapes and culture of the people are unique and fentastic. There were no trekkers! It is different from what we see in Dolpo, Annapurna, Everest and far Eastern Nepal.
