Damodar Kund is a popular tourist destination in in Upper Mustang area of Nepal. The place is situated at a height of around 12,000 feet and is famous for its natural beauty. Tourists can either take a car or trek up to Damodar Kund from Gaurikund village which takes around three days on foot from Kedarnath or two days on foot from Badrinath.

The place has a religious significance as it is believed that a dip in this holy water can wash away one’s sins.
It also has historical significance as it was built by King Dasharatha, father of Lord Rama.
