  • Taking a helicopter tour over the Himalayas is a truly magnificent adventure, filled with awe-inspiring scenery and magnificent peaks. You can see from overhead the amazing vistas of the Himalayas. The range of destinations for helicopter trips in Nepal make them a good choice for anybody looking to share something new with friends or loved ones. Your journey starts from Kathmandu airport with a helicopter moving eastwards, flying parallel to the Himalayan range, allowing magnificent vistas of the soaring Himalayan peaks. After landing at Lukla for fueling you will fly to the airstrip in Syangboche (12,340ft) to have breakfast at Hotel Everest View, the helicopter will land at Hotel’s helipad. From Syangboche you can have sightseeing helicopter tour closer to Mt. Everest and all the magneficient himalays like Amadablam, Pumori, Number, Cho Oyu (8201m) in the Khumbu region. Syangboche,a tiny Sherpa village and one of the venue for the world’s highest skydiving event Everest Skydive, lies directly above Namche Bazaar(3450m). There is a small take off and landing airport at the place. From here you can enjoy close Views of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest, Pumori, Nuptse and Lhotse. There will be a set of Oxygen and max regulator for emergency purpose.

    You will fly across the panoramic himalayan ranges that are usually covered with snow. As you take off from Kathmandu Langtang Lirung (7245m) looms before you. The chopper turns east towards Gaurishanker and Everest. As you travel you will be watching unrestricted view of Gosaithan (8046m), Chhoba Bhamare (54960m), Gaurishanker (7134m), Melungtse (7161m), Chugimago (6259m) and then prominent peaks like Numbur (6957m) and Cho Oyu (8201m) appear as you approach Syangboche airstrip. From Syabgboche you can see the majestic Mt.Everest (8848m) and pictrique Amadablam (6812m). The helicopter stops at Syangboche to give you a brake. Visit Everest View hotel for brakefast and get a closer look at the famous Thyangboche monastery. A relaxed time at the hotel provides photographic opportunity. The air at this elevation is cool and refreshing.

    After breakfast return back to the airstrip. Your return journey takes you further inside Khumbu valey to Pheriche (4267m) and closer to Mt.Everest for a close up view of the majestic mountain. Retrace the flight route back to kathmmandu.

    How to Book this trip?

    Fill up the request form below of this website, you will find RESERVATION FORM. Give us your arrival details in Kathmandu. If you need hotel booking in Kathmandu please mention the same in your request. Once we receive your request we will book your helicopter tour and send you our bank details to send deposit for the booking. Please note that in peak time like March, April and May and October and November all the helicopters are busy so deposit is must in order to hold helicopter in your desired dates.
