Kodari border re opening soon from June 2019


Kodari border also known as Tatopani border that connects Nepal and China is going to resume it’s operation from June 2019. This boarder was completely damaged and closed, and all border activities including vehicular and immigration movements were stopped when the earthquake badly hit the country in April 2015.
Now the repair works on various infrastructures are going on a speedy pace from the both sides, on Nepal part the works are to be done soon and at highest priority. Nepal is celebrating Nepal Tourism Year in 2020 that aims to bring 2 million tourists, opening of this border would be a great boost for the country’s trade and tourism. Nepal authority have been pursuing through the various diplomatic channels for the resumption of this very important border for a long time.
