• Kathmandu, Capital City of the kingdom of Nepal, is situated in a basin surrounded by chain of mountain. Eastern rim of the valley from Nagarkot to Kakani provides easily accessible and a quick approach to the mountain. The Himalayan view from Mt. Everest in the east to Manaslu and Hiumchuli in the west can be seen throughout the trail. Langtang and Ganesh Himal dominates skyline on the north. On a clear day part of the range of Annapurna can be seen. The village dotted on the ridge and foothill of this section of the rim gives a bird eye view of diverse culture. The oak, pine and rhododendron forests give different view of the fast disappearing forest resource of Nepal.

• Day 01: Nagarkot (2200m) to Chisapani (2300m) – 6 hours walk

  Drive to Nagarkot. It is a hill station located about 34 km from Kathmandu about 10 km from Bhaktapur. It is situated on northeastern rim of Kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is best known for sunrise and sunset view over the Himalayan range. On a clear day you may see peak of Mt. Everest. You can enjoy the mountain with cool and fresh air. From here you start your first day Kathmandu Valley trek. The trail from Nagarkot follows the ridge towards north to small village of Kattikeke, Jorsim Pauwa to Chowki Bhanjyang which is about 2.5 hours. Further you trek approx about 3 to 4 hours to camp at Chisapani (2300m). Chisapani, the hilltop at an altitude of 2300m, where the place opens up and the panorama unfolds to give us a magneficient view of the Himalayas, stunning and seamless. The range stretches from Dhaulagiri far in the west to Annapurna, Manaslu, Hiunchuli, Ganesh Himal (I, II, and III), Shisapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Lugar range, Gaurishankar in the east. Chisapani provides one of the most spectacular outlooks of the Annapurna range in the Valley. Stay overnight at lodge.

  Day 02: Shivapouri (2732m) – 6 hours walk

  The trail from Chisapani continues to ascend along the ridgeline in the west. Walk through forest and less marked trail. It is easy walk because of gradual ascend and level trail. Lodge will be set up at Shivapuri. Stay overnight at lodge.

  Day 03: Budanilkhantha and to Kathmandu – 3 hours walk

  Descend to Budanilkhantha, a small town situated on the slop to the north of Kathamndu. Drive to Kathamndu
